This freestanding kitchen island provides ample counter and storage space with its expandable drop-leaf top and numerous shelves. The base is made from solid and engineered wood in a beachy light green shade while the countertop is made from engineered wood and a smooth black finish that makes cleanup a cinch. Two sliding doors open to reveal two enclosed shelves to store larger items like pots, pans, and colanders. Above these doors are two drawers for your silverware. We love the side-mounted shelves for spices and small jars and the towel rack on the opposite end.
